Transamerica Life Bermuda appoints new Chief Operating Officer

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Gahyoung Kim as Chief Operating Officer. She will play a pivotal role as we move forward with our new Target Operating Model, designed to bring clarity, alignment, and execution discipline across the organisation.

This appointment marks a significant step in strengthening our company’s operational foundation as we enhance the way we serve partners and high-net-worth (HNW) clients globally.

As Chief Operating Officer, Gahyoung will oversee the Operations and Transformation function. With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, she held senior positions at AIA Group, where she played a pivotal role in driving growth and transformation across insurance distribution channels. In her current role, Gahyoung will focus on optimising efficiency, strengthening process discipline, and elevating the overall client and partner experience.
