TLB Recognised at the Insurance Asia Awards 2018 for Third Year Running

July 13, 2018

Transamerica Life Bermuda is the winner in the International Life Insurer of the Year (Hong Kong) and the New Insurance Product of the Year categories presented by Asian Banking & Finance (ABF)* Insurance Asia Awards 2018.

This is the third year in a row that we were recognised as the International Life Insurer of the Year (Hong Kong) and our first time winning in the category of New Insurance Product of the Year with the launch of Universal Life Alpha in 2017.

The Insurance Asia Awards is an accolade to honour the companies who rise above their challenges and take initiatives and practices that make the most of the lucrative opportunities in the market.

We were recognised for our continued efforts to strengthen our product proposition to meet the changing needs of Asia's High Net Worth (HNW) customers, with innovative, new product initiatives that tap into the growing demand for life insurance policies that maximise legacy and retirement planning.

Specifically designed to meet the distinct needs of Asia's new High Net Worth (HNW) generation, Universal Life Alpha offers competitive pricing, high flexibility and long-term cash value growth potential - features valued by the new HNW generation when considering universal life policies for estate and business succession planning.

It is exciting to see that our commitment towards meeting customer needs and providing product excellence has been recognised by the industry and we feel that this helps us to stand out from the competition.

The award ceremony was held on 12 July 2018 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore.
