Transamerica Life Bermuda introduces Opera One Variable Universal Life (VUL) (Bermuda version), a single-premium, investment-linked life insurance solution designed for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals seeking to integrate life insurance protection with their existing assets. Opera One VUL is structured to support sophisticated wealth, business and legacy-planning needs while providing long-term protection within a flexible and efficient framework.
Opera One VUL is designed to empower clients to:
- Elevate their legacy with bespoke lifetime protection
Secure a minimum sum assured of USD 10 million for ages 18-80, with up to USD 2 million in accelerated terminal illness benefits. - Amplify wealth potential
Fund policies using cash and/or approved assets such as mutual funds, bonds, and equities (with a minimum 2% of the portfolio in cash or cash equivalents). - Maintain control over investment decisions
Clients can request management of investments by themselves or nominate an approved professional investment manager, subject to TLB approval, to ensure alignment with their broader wealth strategy. - Enjoy flexible premium options
Start from USD 5 million or equivalent, with split payments permitted (50% upfront), and add funds anytime from USD 25,000, up to 5% of the sum assured annually at no additional charge. - Access policy value when needed
Make withdrawal without charges, with the sum assured remaining unaffected for annual withdrawals of up to 5% of the policy value. - Distribute legacy flexibly
