Transamerica Life Bermuda won the award for the International Life Insurer of the Year (Hong Kong) category presented by Asian Banking & Finance (“ABF”)* at their Insurance Asia Awards 2019 ceremony.

This is the fourth year in a row that Transamerica Life Bermuda received this distinction.
The Insurance Asia Awards is an accolade to honour the companies who rise above their challenges and take initiatives and practices that make the most out of the lucrative opportunities in the market while keeping clients satisfied.
Over the years, we have accumulated a great deal of research insights into the needs and desires of High Net Worth ("HNW") customers. We were recognised for our continued efforts to strengthen our product suite, with innovative, new product initiatives that tap into the growing demand for life insurance policies that maximise wealth protection and legacy planning, including our Universal Life Alpha and Universal Life Plus products.
In August 2018, we launched a unique new-customer experience offering called TLB Eminence, which provides concierge and security services to our selected HNW customers. TLB Eminence is the first-ever value-added customer experience offering introduced by an insurance company in Asia, and is a complimentary membership available exclusively for eligible customers of Transamerica Life Bermuda. TLB Eminence offers customers access to luxury concierge and security services via multiple service channels.

The award ceremony was held on 16 July 2019 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore.
