Maaike van Meer

General Counsel and Head of Legal and Compliance

Maaike van Meer, currently serves as General Counsel of Aegon Asia Regional Office since December 2018, and was appointed in the additional role as General Counsel for TLB in February 2019.

Maaike has over 12 years' experience in managing Legal & Compliance in financial services functions, on a local, regional and global level, including heading the Financial Economic Crime team, being Data Protection Officer and managing regulatory affairs. Maaike practiced in The Netherlands, London and Hong Kong.
